Network & Comms
Catalyst offer a full range of networking services to facilitate the fast, secure and reliable flow of information around your company.
Planning
To plan and implement a network for a new site or an existing site can be a daunting task and, if not completed professionally, can be the cause of much frustration. We will spend as much time as you need working with you to give you the benefit of many years experience in this field and producing the most cost effective and reliable solution for you.
Network Cabling
Our team of professional installers will work around your schedule and we will not leave bits of cable and conduit lying around your site when we finish. We will keep noise and mess to a minimum and we will fully test, certify and clearly label every point on the network.
Wireless
Wireless networks are now commonplace and although not the best solution in all cases, they can be a very cost effective, tidy and convenient solution in many situations. Wireless bridges between buildings can be set up over ½ a mile with potentially huge savings over digging up roads etc. All our installations of wireless equipment are secure from external hacking.
Virtual Private Network (VPN)
If you have home workers or branch offices that need to connect to your corporate or head office network, this can be a very cost effective tool. Catalyst can set up a VPN between sites that uses your internet connection to create a secure connection for your data to pass between the sites. Once set up, there is no cost incurred for the use of the VPN apart from your standard broadband charge. Remote workers can be set up with a secure VPN and Microsoft’s remote desktop application to give access to corporate servers.
Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP)
Phone and data are being converged more and more on today’s networks and there are many savings to having this ability. We will work with you to see if a convergence solution will suit your business requirements and then plan and install a reliable telephony system.
